Updates in Hospital Medicine 2014: Evidence-based Reviews on the Management of Hospitalized Patients

The Updates in Hospital Medicine 2014 course is a continuing medical education designed to provide a review of the most recent medical literature relevant to the care of hospitalized patients. Using an interactive, case-based format, the key highlights from all major areas of internal medicine and its specialties will be presented. Strong emphasis will be placed on how recent advances described in the medical literature can be incorporated into current clinical practice. An expert panel of distinguished academic physicians from around the country will present didactic lectures and address questions from the audience. The didactic lectures are scheduled during the days at sea in 3-4 hour blocks to allow participants sufficient time to absorb the educational content while enjoying the cruise.
