Tumor Angiogenesis and Vascular Normalization: Bench to Bedside to Biomarkers
In-Person EventMar 05 - 08, 2015Orlando, Florida, USA
Speakers
OVERVIEW
This AACR Special Conference will offer critical analysis of what is currently known about tumor angiogenesis, and its role in metastasis, metabolism, and immune response. Emphasis will be placed on the role of vascular normalization in therapeutic outcome. Internationally recognized speakers will present their latest findings from both bench and bedside. The goal is to highlight key gaps in our present knowledge of cancer and point to future directions for research at the bench, in the clinic, and in drug development.
The speakers will encourage an open discussion and will provide critical comments on the challenges and the future opportunities in inhibiting angiogenesis and in establishment of novel therapeutic approaches and biomarkers to guide treatment. The aim of this conference is to analyze and synthesize the most up-to-date findings. The program will provide valuable information in a systematic and comprehensive manner, with emphasis on emerging concepts, and is designed to help improve clinical translation of this knowledge for better cancer treatment.
