This two-day course has been developed to provide a comprehensive overview of therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) that will take the practicing endosonographer from theory to the hands-on practice of EUS, while discussing and demonstrating the fine points of the procedure. Attendees will be exposed to everything regarding equipment, technical aspects, diagnostic utility, therapeutic uses, and general role of EUS in the care of patients with gastrointestinal and non-gastrointestinal disorders.
Renowned faculty will provide concise reviews and pertinent information regarding EUS, which will be supported by case discussions and debates. While in the bio-skills lab, attendees will be guided through an intensive hands-on experience, which will include animate models at various stations, allowing attendees to perform many of the procedures encountered in everyday practice, while focusing on new and evolving advanced therapeutic applications of EUS.
