SHAPE America Southern District Convention

The mission of Southern District is to support and promote the aims of SHAPE America and assist in strengthening the state affiliates of the 13 states which comprise this District: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. Southern District serves as an advocate for quality programs that encourage healthy, physically active lifestyles.The ongoing pursuit of the Southern District mission is facilitated by providing professional development opportunities including, but not limited to, workshops, conventions and leadership conferences.
