Sexual Health Building Clinician Confidence Competence

Our culture presents us with images and messages about sex and sexuality on a daily basis, and yet sexual health remains an under-addressed topic in CPD and in the clinic. Why Let’s face it Sex and sexuality include a range of topics that are, on some level and to some degree, uncomfortable for all of us - patients and practitioners alike.

Therefore the UCB are very excited to invite all to attend the 1st Sexual Health conference. The planning committee has had to work overtime to narrow down a huge number of sexual health topics to accommodate a 2-day CPD program. This course aims to offer something for all practitioners - from generalists to specialists - addressing sexual health through many of its lenses: all ages, genders and orientations; positive and negative health consequences; relevance in society, the law, and of course in day-to-day clinical practice.

They are inspiring a positive and healthy approach to some of the common issues and challenges faced by patients, and clinicians - and that by attending this CPD event you will build your confidence and competence in an area that has relevance in most domains of healthcare.

Sexual Health 2015 offers two full days of interesting plenary sessions and smaller group case-based/interactive workshops - and still couldn’t manage to fit it all in!
