OVERVIEW
This symposium has been designed to cover some of the aspects of modern cardiology practice that provides difficulty in diagnosis, assessment and management of patients to both the specialist and generalist.
The first session is focused on hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, a condition being increasingly recognised due to changes in cardiac imaging. This condition is linked with sudden death and significant morbidity in both young and old. The session will examine diagnosis, imaging, management, family screening, genetic testing and future training in this condition.
