Postgraduate Course of the Americas Hernia Society (AHS)

This course is an update on new mesh technology and advances in surgical procedures for the treatment of ventral and inguinal hernias. This course is for general surgeons, herniologists, plastic surgeons, trauma surgeons, and colorectal surgeons. This course will provide information regarding the surgical approach to complex abdominal wall reconstruction, anterior and posterior component separation techniques, laparoscopic ventral hernia repair, and appropriate usage of biologic and synthetic mesh. Course content will include state of the art lectures, panel discussion, instructive video presentations, and live surgery demonstration.
