OVERVIEW
This evening program will cover the clinical features and etiology of potentially malignant and malignant lesions of the oral cavity with a focus on the most current literature. The speakers will provide clarity on hot topics, such as the relationship between Human Papilloma Virus and e-cigarettes with head and neck cancer. The most current advances in the treatment of these lesions will also be discussed.
Important clinical features and warning signs of potentially malignant oral lesions and cancer will be reviewed, as well as improving clinician preparedness in the timely diagnose of these lesions. An update on the treatment modalities of these lesions will also be presented that will further clinician knowledge, better equipping you to assuage anxious patients and to know when and to whom you should refer these patients.
