OVERVIEW
The 2015 Nitric Oxide Gordon Research Conference will inform and engage participants in discussions on the most up-to-date and innovative research on nitric oxide biology. Areas of focus include new advances in nitric oxide-related biological chemistry and enzymology, signaling mechanisms that coordinate and regulate metabolism, vascular, neuronal and immune system responses, post-translational protein modifications, interactions with other gasotransmitters, and new advances in nitric oxide-based pharmacology.
The conference is organized to facilitate communication between scientists whose expertise span a range of disciplines from molecular mechanisms to models of disease processes and ultimately to clinical/translational investigations. A major goal of the conference is to provide ample opportunities for junior scientists, post-doctoral fellows and graduate students to present their work and network with senior investigators. To assure that fresh and high impact advances are presented at the conference, emphasis will be placed on selecting abstracts submitted for poster presentations for short talks. Please join us in this warmly collegial conference that serves as an ideal forum for thought-provoking discussions, exchanges of new ideas, debate, and new discoveries.
