OVERVIEW
The Gordon Research Seminar on Molecular Pharmacology is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.
This year’s GRS will focus on new advancements in the field of G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs). The seminar series will examine 1) the initiation of GPCR signaling at the biochemical and structural level, 2) novel intracellular signaling pathways downstream of GPCR activation and 3) the functional implications of GPCRs in disease. All of these topics will facilitate discussion of the importance of understanding GPCR function for drug discovery.
