OVERVIEW
At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
• Perform risk management in MS for the following: selection of disease-modifying therapy, assessment of risk of specific agents, monitoring strategies to reduce risk of medications
• Discuss the unique features of MS in pediatric patients and their implications for clinical practice
• Analyze the role of generic therapies in disease management for MS
• Discuss recent findings from the AAN guideline on complementary and alternative medicines
• Discuss the role of pain in MS and subtypes of MS related pain
• Review the process of disability evaluation and determination
