Improving Mental Health Crisis Care (Oct 15, 2015)

This conference focuses on improving mental health crisis care and delivering this model of mental health crisis services, and meeting the ambitions of the Mental Health Crisis Concordat a year on. Through national updates, case studies and perspectives from service users the conference will look at delivering the transformational mental health crisis model at a local level, what makes a good crisis plan, acting early to prevent people reaching crisis point, delivering effective RAID services, working in partnership with the police to improve care for those in crisis, measuring outcomes and quality in crisis care and making the concordat a local reality. There will also be a focus on what helps people in crisis from the user perspective and an update on the urgent care review and ensuring parity of esteem.
