ASGE is continuing its tradition of offering a comprehensive review of endoscopic technique and clinical management for fellows in their first year of a US-based GI fellowship. Upper and lower endoscopy and case-based endoscopic intervention form the basis of the curriculum. Foreign body management, diagnostic upper endoscopy, and advanced techniques will also be addressed. The program offers a unique hands-on training session using ex-vivo animal models at the ASGE's Institute for Training and Technology (IT&T). The course begins with didactic sessions and hands-on or interactive video sessions follow in the afternoon. A fellows/faculty networking reception completes day one.
