OVERVIEW
This course will cover a wide breadth of information for the practitioner who cares for IBD patients. IBD has become a very dynamic field and, as evidence has mounted, our practice has changed dramatically in just a few years. Internationally known for their expertise in IBD, the faculty will discuss how to incorporate endoscopy along with other modalities into practice to help better manage their patients with IBD. State of the art presentations with case based discussions will be the main content delivery method so that the information discussed is relevant to every day practice. Participants will leave the course with practical knowledge of when and how to use endoscopic techniques to care for their IBD patients. They will also appreciate mimics of IBD and when to consider other diagnoses. The timing of surveillance, how to maximize surveillance procedures, and when to send a patient to surgery are all going to be outlined as well.
