DALS: Dental Advanced Life Support

Nationally-recognized instructor, John Bovia, has over 30 years of medical emergency training and experience. Graduates of this course will be able to safely and confidently respond to cardiac and medical emergencies both inside and outside the dental office.

1. Prepare your office to operate as a small code team outside of a hospital setting 2. Learn how to use dental office emergency equipment to run a MEGACODE emergency(102) 3. Create a management plan for medical emergencies that could arise in your office(92) 4. Confidently use state-of-the-art AED equipment from Cardiac Science 5. Receive hands-on training using advanced airway management equipment(70, 117, 137) 6. Develop your skills through practice on high-tech patient simulators 7. Boost your awareness of crucial emergency drugs and equipment(102) 8. Leave with the knowledge to set up your office and train your team
