Controlling Dental Pain

This course will be a discussion of pain generation, and then cover most of the available NSAIDs and opiates for dental use. The lecture is meant to be very practical by giving suggested doses, the advantages/disadvantages of each medication, and “tricks” that can optimize the success of the patient’s acute pain management. This lecture will give the participant “everything they need” to be a competent prescriber of multiple forms of analgesics.
