OVERVIEW

This medical conference will help radiologists in improving their understanding and skills in head and neck imaging and pathology.

Educational Objectives
Attendees should, at the completion of this meeting, be able to:
• Identify the anatomy of temporal bone, skull base, suprahyoid neck, and infrahyoid neck.
• Describe the lymphatic drainage and patterns of head and neck metastases.
• Review the anatomy of cranial nerves and clinical presentation of various pathologies affecting cranial nerves.
• Identify the imaging features and clinical significance of perineural tumor spread.
• Describe the common infectious and inflammatory processes that involve the sinonasal region.
• Apply imaging techniques to address CSF leak and understand the surgeons’ perspective with regard to minimally invasive CSF leak repair.
• Discuss the various image-guided head and neck biopsy techniques.
• Describe the clinical applications of and indications for perfusion and diffusion imaging of head and neck tumors.
