Advanced Symposium of the European Foot and Ankle Society (EFAS)

The programme for the symposium has been co-ordinated by the EFAS Scientific Committee and the theme is Difficult Scenarios and Controversies. This theme continues the ‘Advanced’ level of the symposium and presenters will use case based presentation in order to share knowledge and experience. The purpose of providing Advanced symposia is to continue to challenge our perspective and to ensure that we remain leaders in the Foot and Ankle Specialty. I am grateful to our Local Host, Marco Guelfi, for his support within the Scientific Committee in the organisation of this symposium in Genoa, the birthplace of Christopher Columbus.
