OVERVIEW
program specifically designed to expand on the competencies learned in CAAMP to provide department chairs and academic administrators within colleges and schools with strategies and skills for developing professionalism within their institutions, departments, and curriculum. Through group discussions, case studies, role-playing, interactive exercises, and presentations, leaders in the program will:
- Examine how to foster a climate of civility, sensitivity, and equitable support in the workplace.
- Discuss the impact of evaluating performance for preparing self and engaging faculty in professional progression.
- Develop a plan for implementing change and managing resistance.
- Identify critical components for enhancing faculty recruitment and retention efforts.
CAAMP II is a 2-day workshop designed to provide a practical, hands-on, interactive experience for effectively shaping a culture of excellence in an academic environment.
