9th Annual UCLA Liver Diseases Symposium

This symposium will serve as an educational forum for the Southern California physician community for the scientific exchange of information regarding the diagnosis and treatment of the most prevalent liver diseases. Each lecture will start with a case presentation, followed by a discussion on the pertinent topic.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this course, participants should be able to:
* Discuss the management of patients with hepatitis C
* Diagnose and manage patients with NASH and metabolic syndrome
* Apply the different diagnostic modalities in patients with liver tumors
* Identify the diagnosis and treatment of cholangiocarcinoma
* Examine surveillance for hepatocellular carcinoma and the different treatment modalities
* Review the different dietary supplements causing liver injury
