Whether members of the audience are new residency graduates or seasoned physicians, they are going to learn new and useful information that will truly make a difference in patient care and will save lives!

Overall Learning Objectives
1. Recognize the basis of ECG analysis and when to obtain one to aid in the diagnosis of major life threatening conditions
2. Develop efficient ECG interpretation skills in order to make prompt and relevant clinical decisions based on the interpretation and to identify commonly overlooked EKG findings that predict acute myocardial ischemia, pulmonary embolism, and pericarditis
3. Distinguish between the various types of A-V block, tachydysrhythmias and the pre-excitation syndrome.
4. Review the major pitfalls and errors that can occur with the electrocardiogram interpretation and learn how they can be avoided.
