71st Korean Congress Of Radiology (KCR)

Korean Society of Radiology (KSR), the organizing society of KCR, to have the privilege to share its experience and knowhow with colleagues all over the world through KCR 2015. KSR opened its congress to the international audience in 2007, and since then, the number of sessions conducted in English has increased to almost 80% of the program. This year, while maintaining this ratio, KCR 2015 will continuously run sessions in Korean throughout the congress period to propose a more balanced program for those who are interested in attending sessions conducted in Korean. This shows the dedication of KSR to share its expertise both within Korea as well as the rest of the world and grow together for the future of radiology.

In particular, with the new slogan, K-RAD, which means Korean radiology, KSR has identified three keywords that express the values that it would like to focus on during the next three years for the advancement of the Society as well as the field of radiology in general: open, balanced and sustainable. "Open" stands for an open-minded approach toward communication and collaboration both in and outside radiology to promote innovation; "balanced" stands for the strive to close the gap between the subspecialties in radiology as well as the different regions and the urban and rural areas; lastly and most importantly, "sustainable" stands for the need to prepare for change in today’s unfavorable environment at the level of the Society, scientific research and the field of radiology in general.
