OVERVIEW

The 2015 UCSF Techniques in Complex Spine Surgery Course is a two-day course emphasizing pioneering trends in spinal surgery. This course is designed to be interactive with didactic lectures given by leaders in the spine community as well as a hands-on bioskills lab portion taking place at the Medical Education and Research Institute in Nevada (MERIN). Designed for neurosurgeons, orthopaedic surgeons, residents, and fellows who are interested in complex spine surgery techniques and want to gain both a description of the unique anatomical and clinical aspects of these procedures as well as a hands-on approach to each of these regions on cadaveric preparations that will provide for cervical, thoracic, and lumbar dissection and instrumentation from a diverse faculty of experts in a state of the art facility.
