OVERVIEW
This joint meeting of ASIA and ISCoS promises a stimulating scientific program and an opportunity to enjoy the role of Montreal in Science, Culture and History.
Scientifically, Montreal has been associated with significant advances in neuroscience, such as the mapping of the sensorimotor cortices as the well-known homunculi by Dr Wilder Penfield at the Montreal Neurological Institute and Dr Herbert Jasper (McGill University and Université de Montréal), as well as the pioneering work of Dr Gustave Gingras in spinal cord rehabilitation medicine at the Université de Montréal.
