3rd Annual UC San Diego Essentials and Advances in Apheresis Therapies

The 3rd Annual UC San Diego Essentials and Advances in Apheresis Therapies is a 2½-day multidisciplinary conference to be held March 12-14, 2015. Recognized leaders from around the country will lead both didactic sessions and interactive discussions and will cover comprehensive reviews of the essentials plus selected advanced topics.

Fundamentals will comprise basic principles, procedures, prescribing, patient management, care of specific populations and apheresis service administration. Updates on disease indications will be supplemented by case studies. In-depth reviews by experts will include scientific advances in the understanding of selected diseases and innovations in apheresis techniques. The popular small group workshops, led by experienced practitioners, will again offer attendees a unique hands-on opportunity to study various techniques and machines used in therapeutic apheresis.
