OVERVIEW
With the successful first edition attracting a high number of participants, the European School of Urology (ESU) and the EAU Section of Uro-Technology (ESUT) are again collaborating for the 2nd ESU Masterclass on Lasers in Urology to be held in Barcelona from 4-5 November, 2015.
“With advances in laser technology, there are new devices that offer alternative treatment options in managing lower and upper tract diseases. Urologists need to have expertise on these new laser-based therapies,” the ESU said.
A comprehensive course on the whole range of laser technologies and their clinical applications in urology, the masterclass will be supported by leading manufacturers and developers of laser products.
The two-day course will feature expert lectures on laser treatments including identifying the patients who can benefit from laser treatment, tips and tricks for optimum results and the management of commonly encountered complications, among others.
