OVERVIEW
Objectives:
- To learn the basics of bowel preparation regimens, including faecal/fluid tagging
- To understand how to perform a CTC study (colon distention, imaging protocols, strategies for dose reduction)
- To be aware of pros and cons of primary 2D and 3D reading approaches with and without Computed Aided Detection (CAD)
- To understand common clinical indications of CTC
- To obtain hands-on experience about typical features of cancers and polyps
- To obtain hands-on experience about most common pitfalls
