16th International Coeliac Disease Symposium (ICDS)

he 16th International Celiac Disease Symposium (ICDS2015) is rapidly approaching and builds on the long tradition of the previously highly successful meetings that have set the standard in the field. The symposium will take place in Prague, the beautiful capital of the Czech Republic. The local organizing committee, together with the international advisory board, is busy with the finalization of the program for both the Scientific meeting and the Clinical forum. It promises to become a very exciting meeting where they will have experts giving comprehensive updates on the latest developments within the field and oral presentations of selected abstracts.

In addition there will be ample time for poster sessions. Also, there will be several keynote lectures on timely topics like commonalities between autoimmune diseases, intestinal organoids and the diversity and function of innate lymphoid cells in the mucosal immune system. The clinical forum, a tradition going back to the 12th ICDS in New York, will give an update for lay people and patients. Altogether it promises to become a highly interesting meeting.
