OVERVIEW
WONCA is a worldwide organisation of general practitioners, which is also organised on a regional level (division is based on continents) and in interest groups. WONCA Working Party on Rural Practice is the most active interest group which has organised congresses for doctors of rural and remote areas for the past 10 years.
The conference in Dubrovnik will gather over 1000 participants, who will discuss more than 10 different groups of topics on rural general practice. Key note speakers: WONCA former president prof. Richard Roberts, WONCA president Michael Kidd, WONCA president elect Amanda Howe, secretary of WONCA Europe Janko Kersnik, Vice Dean of Medical School East Sarajevo Maja RaÄić and Claudio Colosio, leading expert in occupational health of agriculture.
