10th International Congress of Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India Conference (AMASICON)

The organizing committee of the 10th International Congress of Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India – AMASICON 2015 takes great pleasure in inviting you to Mumbai for the Laparoscopic Surgery feast to be held from 5th to 8th November 2015. They are in the Silver Jubilee year of laparoscopic surgery in India and there is no better place than Mumbai to host this landmark congress. It is be fitting that it has come back to the place of its birth in the Silver Jubilee Year.

Perhaps they can confidently take pride in the fact that we are at an equal footing or better than that of the western world in embracing laparoscopic surgery. As a result of the concrete efforts of AMASI, laparoscopy is now being practiced widely in urban and rural areas alike. They are on track to achieve our mission of Minimal Access Surgery (MAS) for the masses.

The Association itself has lived up to expectations of its ever expanding 6000 plus membership. They have supported newer developments like Single Port, Robotic surgery in the field of Laparoscopic surgery. They are sure that this conference will focus on newer developments as well as well established procedures for new learners.
