World Congress Of The International Society for Biophysics and Imaging of the Skin (ISBS)

The International Society for Bioengineering of the Skin (ISBS) was formed informally in 1976 and was formally constituted in 1993. In 2005 the International Society for Skin Imagin (ISSI) merged with ISBS under the new name of International Society for Biophysics and Imaging of the Skin. Among its more than 160 members, there are – dermatologists – occupational physicians – physiologists – biochemists – pharmacologists – toxicologists – cosmetic scientists – and engineers, all sharing a common interest in the development, use and spread of knowledge on skin bioengineering techniques.
