OVERVIEW

The UCLA Department of Neurology‘s CME course, Review of Clinical Neurology, is designed to provide a practical and useful review for neurologists who wish to strengthen their proficiency in clinical neurology and enhance their clinical knowledge. The course will also be useful for neurologists who plan to sit in for the Maintenance of Certification (MOC) examination offered by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Common and important neurologic disorders will be presented emphasizing practical aspects of clinical care. The program will utilize an interactive case-based approach through an audience response system (ARS) with emphasis on evidence-based updates on the diagnosis, pathophysiology and management options for the key neurological disorders. Effective, evidence-based treatment will be highlighted for each disease presented. Each lecturer will introduce the audience to “three new things” in their respective lecture topic.
