Additionally, descriptive terms (e.g. chronic colitis) as diagnoses without interpretation are increasingly regarded with suspicion. You’ll receive valuable guidance in challenging areas that can directly affect patient management and outcomes, including the new diagnostic criteria for Barrett’s esophagus; the diagnosis of dysplasia tumors and inflammatory diseases in all parts of the GI tract, including lymphocytic disorders; and follow-up of MALT and other lymphomas.
