STS(Society of Thoracic Surgeons) 50th Annual Meeting & STS/AATS Tech-Con 2014

This edition of the STS 50th Annual Meeting Advance Program includes a program outline and course descriptions to help you plan your schedule. You’ll also find registration instructions and information on travel and housing accommodations.

While there are a number of exciting activities planned, two I’m most looking forward to are our invited lectures on Tuesday afternoon. The Thomas B. Ferguson Lecture will be given by Bassem Youssef, an Egyptian cardiothoracic surgeon/television host who was named by Time magazine as one of the most influential people in the world for 2013. And the C. Walton Lillehei Lecture will be given by Shaf Keshavjee, Surgeon-in-Chief, University Health Network, University of Toronto, who is pioneering efforts to treat and improve high-risk donor lungs so they can be safely used for transplant. You won’t want to miss these inspiring presentations.

STS/AATS Tech-Con is back for its 13th year, featuring a preview of innovative therapies and new technology in the field. Prepare your practice for the changing trends in cardiothoracic surgery by attending this cutting-edge event.
