STP Annual Conference on Teaching (ACT)

The Society for the Teaching of Psychology is excited to announce the 13th conference in the popular “Best Practices in Teaching Psychology” series. The conference will follow the successful Best Practices format but it will have a new name - STP Annual Conference on Teaching (ACT) - and will serve a wider audience of psychology teachers. Rather than focusing on a specific topic, in 2014, the conference will have tracks related to APA’s new learning goals for the undergraduate psychology major: (1) Knowledge Base in Psychology, (2) Scientific Inquiry and Critical Thinking, (3) Ethical and Social Responsibility in a Diverse World, (4) Communication, and (5) Professional Development. The conference will also include keynote speakers, symposia, and a poster session.
