Pediatric Acute Care Conference: A Simulation-based Model

This conference targets physicians and nurses who regularly take care of critically ill pediatric patients or who might encounter such patients occasionally in their practice. The main thrust of the conference is recognition, evaluation, and management of potentially life threatening conditions in the critically ill child. The team of expert pediatric subspecialists will present series of case based discussions that will increase your understanding of the pathophysiology and management of the critically ill child. The Simulation sessions are designed to enhance the cognitive and psychomotor skills of attendees through cue-based, heuristic learning.
