Every year, between 250,000 and 500,000 people in the United States have a devastating spinal cord injury, with long-term, disabling consequences. Advances in technology and research have created alternative options in the management and rehabilitation of this population. This one-day conference will facilitate the development of competent practitioners to address these needs. This course is designed to update psychiatrists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, internists, family physicians, and allied healthcare professionals in the care and rehabilitation of patients with spinal cord injury.
