Nitrous Oxide Review

This course will follow the ADA guidelines for teaching nitrous oxide. It will include background, history, patient evaluation and the entire spectrum of sedation/anesthesia. Dr. Leventer will cover respiration and related physiology, drug interactions, contraindications, monitoring and record keeping. Adverse reactions will also be discussed. Attendees will also participate in a hands- on component and a review of the equipment needed for administration.
