OVERVIEW
The 2014 Cardiac Regulatory Mechanisms Gordon Research Seminar (GRS) will provide participants with a unique opportunity to present their work and build networks with their peers. Based on past experience, we anticipate an atmosphere of intense and lively discussions, where all participants contribute and learn.
This gathering of graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and new investigators will be held on the two days prior to the Cardiac Regulatory Mechanisms Gordon Research Conference (GRC) on Cardiac Regulatory Mechanisms. The Gordon Research Seminar is organized by young scientists, and is designed specifically for young scientists. This meeting is intended to encourage the participation of talented researchers who will become the next generation of leaders in the field.
This forum will facilitate in-person interactions that will foster scientific collaboration. Furthermore, participants will gain valuable presentation experience and feedback that will prepare them to actively participate in the ensuing Cardiac Regulatory Mechanisms GRC. We would like to encourage all GRS participants to also plan to attend GRC, which will take place immediately after GRS. Please apply separately to each meeting.
