OVERVIEW
This is a two-day theory course that covers the essential aspects of intermediate laparoscopic and open surgery.
It is recognised for the ‘Benign Abdominal Surgery: open and laparoscopic’ and ‘Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery for the excision of benign disease' Advanced Training Skills Modules (ATSMs).
This course is valid for three years, and must be completed prior to completion of the practical component of the ATSMs.
