OVERVIEW
Highlights of the course will include sessions on biomechanical principles
and application of elastic nailing, the impact of growth in the management
of children’s fractures, polytrauma in childhood, posttraumatic deformities
of the upper and lower extremities, and special fractures and
associated problems in the pediatric population.
This course is designed for surgeons in orthopedics, orthopedic trauma, pediatrics, or general surgery who may care for pediatric fracture patients. Emergency medicine physicians may also find this course to be beneficial.
