American Urological Association (AUA) Educational Series: Advanced Prostate Cancer Care (San Francisco)

There has been a dramatic change in the understanding and treatment of men with CRPC. The recent approval of multiple new FDA agents for management of men has created significant opportunities to extend survival and improve on the quality of life of men with CRPC. However, while greater availability of effective agents benefits patients, multiple options and sequencing may complicate decision-making. This course will provide the educational assistance needed to fill this educational gap in clinical practice as well as review the key safety concerns and management strategies for the varying mechanisms of action of these newly approved therapeutics.
