AAPMU-Advanced Ultrasound Procedural Techniques in Pain Medicine

Define the principals and standards of an MSK ultrasound examination. Perform a structured MSK examination of the shoulder and carpal canal. Understand ultrasound of the sympathetic chain and perform procedures with the help of our faculty on anatomimical specimens. Understand common entrapment/traumatic neuropathies and practice these strategies during the hands on portion of the course. Perform ultrasound guided MSK injections of the shoulder, hip and knee. Perform ultrasound guided spinal procedures of the lumbar spine and pelvis.
