OVERVIEW
This continuing medical education course is designed to provide general and community based gastroenterology physicians, general, internal medicine and family medicine physicians, physician’s assistants and nurse practitioners an opportunity to learn about and discuss the advances in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with liver disease and luminal GI diseases. This year’s course will cover topics from Difficult IBD cases, Difficult Hepatitis cases, Eosinophilic Esophagitis, Esophageal Strictures, Celiac Disease, Portal Vein Thrombosis, Variceal Treatment, Management of Liver Lesions, Hemochromatosis, Liver Transplantation, GI Malignancy, and an update from DDW Abstracts. During Friday evening program we will also have a research poster symposium to highlight current research and have endoscopic hands-on stations. Meet other colleagues in the field during our reception that will follow the evening program.
