OVERVIEW
Each year, this CME-certified conference partners experts in clinical oncology and basic cancer research in order to enhance understanding and collaboration between these groups and foster translational oncology in the Capital and Adirondack regions of New York. The primary goals of this activity are 1) identification of practical recommendations, new research findings, and ongoing clinical trials for consideration during clinical decision making, 2) exploration of challenges and opportunities in translational oncology, and 3) continuation and initiation of cancer research that has as its ultimate goal to improve the care of patients with cancer. The 2014 conference will focus on breast and lung cancers, as well as tumors of unknown primary origin.
