OVERVIEW
The 6th Annual Winter Hip & Knee Course provides the optimal architecture for interactive medical education and communication. This four-day meeting focuses on primary replacement and revision hips and knees as well as the major healthcare issues related to orthopaedic surgery.
Virtually every aspect of joint replacement will be examined through case-based learning, video vignettes, and audience interaction. The meeting will also examine issues related to the peri-operative environment, including thrombosis, wound and pain management, blood conservation, quality mandates, practice management and economics.
Each of these educational areas is timely and central to the orthopaedic surgeon's effort to maintain surgical excellence while navigating the evolutionary changes taking place throughout the healthcare system.
