55th Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract(SSAT) Annual Meeting

The 2014 SSAT Maintenance of Certification Course will focus on the management of diseases of the stomach and esophagus as well as bariatric surgery. This course will explore the evidence that supports the management of these disorders, and experts will provide a “How I Do It” approach to their subject areas. The format will be a mix of didactic sessions, a video session with experts providing commentary, a debate, and finally a session where experts will discuss the management of common and not-so-common clinical problems in a case-based format. We expect all participants to leave with an enhanced understanding of both the current state-of-the art and where we are going as GI physicians. Completion of this course will help fulfill Part II Maintenance of Certification (MOC) requirements.
