52nd Annual Weil/UC San Diego Symposium on Critical Care & Emergency Medicine

The 52nd Annual Weil/UC San Diego Symposium on Critical Care & Emergency Medicine will address many of the challenges faced by health care professionals who care for critically ill and injured patients, and is again committed to provide a bedside clinician with state-of-the-art updates on diagnosis and management of life-threatened patients. The program provides an ideal mix of traditional standard-of-care principles based on established guidelines together with cutting-edge recent advances applicable to the care of the critically ill.

Didactic lectures on current management are featured in the plenary sessions. Updates 2014 are a series of lectures highlighting important advances. Practical skills are taught in half-day mini-courses on major subjects including respiratory management and advanced electrocardiographic interpretation. The program offers the opportunity to fill gaps in knowledge and advances in the multi-specialty and broad-based areas of critical care and emergency medicine and translate new guidelines into practice.
