OVERVIEW
We are excited to announce the 4th Annual CNS Diseases World Summit, to be held on September 18-19, 2014 in San Francisco, CA. This meeting has become an established meeting point for all stakeholders in the field. Colleagues from industry, academia, government, and patient groups have the unique opportunity to gather at the intersection of partnerships, research, funding, and drug development.
With the growing unmet need for disease-modifying treatments in CNS disorders such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, autism, and ALS, it is time for us to think of better ways to partner and conduct research. What are opportunities for working with patient advocacy groups? How do small companies and start-ups fit in the space, especially give pharma's decreased involvement? What is the role of private/public partnerships? What are the research opportunities and risks associated with rare CNS disorders? The CNS Disease World Summit is a comprehensive meeting that seeks to answer such questions.
