OVERVIEW
Transcriptional regulation allows for exquisitely precise, context-dependent interpretation of genomic information and is central for the emergence of diverse cellular behaviors during development and disease. The Keystone Symposia meeting on Transcriptional Regulation will focus both on new insights into fundamentals of gene expression control and on the discussion of how these advances impact our understanding of various biological processes, including cellular plasticity and differentiation, reprogramming and cancer. Together with the concurrent symposium on Cancer Epigenetics, this meeting also aims to cover recent progress toward development of therapeutics targeting transcriptional and chromatin regulators.
